PTA

Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is known as ‘waka tautoko’, our encouragement.

Building tight connections and hospitality is at the heart of all we do. Whether it's a Mother’s Day celebration, Blokes n' Kids Breakfast, bi-annual Spring Fair, Multicultural Dinner, sausage sizzle, ice-creams, school birthday celebrations or winter lunch treats, our ‘waka tautoko’ generate creativity and joy within our community.

The PTA provides another place to involve and strengthen whānau/family through working in partnership with our kaimahi/staff. Any opportunity to strengthen community is grasped and we can testify to the power of this part of our community life.

For more information on how to be a part of this beautiful community please contact us.

Spring Fair

Bi-Annual Family Event

A bi-annual event in which we connect with our wider Rotorua community. Our students and their whānau create art and crafts, cook a myriad of delicious food, and present a range of dance and musical items. There is a smorgasbord of activities, art, gifts, novelty items, jewellery, plants and crafts for sale. Wonderful family entertainment and fun!

Multicultural Dinner

Annual  Feast Of Nations

With over 18 different Nations in our kura, we celebrate our multicultural composition with an annual dinner.

Each cultural group set up a display of their cultural heritage and cook some of their transitional cuisine.

In partnership with the local Multicultural Association, we engage with the wider Rotorua community for an evening in which we come together to build bridges of cultural understanding and appreciation.

Blokes N' Kids

Annual Father's Day Breakfast

An early morning start, tamariki bring significant blokes (their Dad, koro, sports coach, next door neighbour, youth leader, etc) to honour the role these men have in the lives of our young people. We hold this event each year just prior to Father’s Day.

'Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God'. ~1 John 4:7
